Hemp has been around since at least the Neolithic Era and is recognized by anthropologists and botanists as the first domesticated crop in humankind. With its high variety of product development and replacement in an array of sectors, hemp has the potential to be to cash crop what silicon became to mineral with its advent in the world of technology in the 1970’s, even more so, needless to say, with the rise of environmental counsciousness in the public and in businesses in general, given its mechanical properties and higgly added-value potential.
Our Non-Woven activities
With the collaboration of one of Japan most important car manufacturer, we have developed a board mix of hemp fiber and polypropylene designed for door trim usage, and we are now looking to put our expertise at the service of the transport industry, developing the road, sky and space biomaterials of tomorrow, strengthier and lighter than ever, grown from the field.
